David Bowder has been in retail sales since 1973 when he started working for Western Surplus in east L.A.. He moved to Lancaster in 1985 while working for the Outdoorsman on 20th St. West and Ave. J. David first started working in floor covering for Color Tile on 15th St. and Ave. K in Lancaster in 1986 and has since worked for some of the largest floor company's in the A.V. like Sears, Home Depot, L&S and small stores like Pacific Land and Marble and Tile. He started working for Metro Floors in 1996. He has been licensed by the State Contractors Board as a Home Improvement salesperson since 2002 and has over 39 years in retail experience with 26 years of that in floor covering. He enjoys working with his customers and helping them pick great products at a good value. He plans to make Metro his last stop before retiring. David has been married to his very loving wife Janet for 40 years, they have 4 children and 5 grandchildren. All 5 of their grandchildren were born at A.V. Hospital and their oldest daughter Tina has worked as a Headstart school teacher for the Palmdale School District for over 10 years. Jennifer, David and Sarah like their father all work in retail.
